Many within our community make an regular donation to the RWLT, either by a annual gift or by joining our monthly giving program. The equation is simple – the more supporters we have, the more natural lands that can be preserved.
Most annual gifts are gifts of cash either made by cheque or credit card. We accept VISA, Mastercard or American Express. The RWLT issues a Canadian Charitable Tax Receipt for all gifts of $25 or more. For our U.S. friends, we partner with American Friends of Canadian Conservation; this enables U.S. tax-paying supporters to get a tax credit to be used when filing their U.S. tax returns.

Gifts of Securities
You may wish to make an donations of stocks, bonds, mutual funds or other publicly traded securities. This is especially advantagous for those of when capital gains taxes are due on appreciation. In addition to the tax receipt issued by the RWLT for the full market value of the gift, you are also exempted from any tax due on the capital gain generated, a tax you would have to pay if you sold the securities outright.
